Making of Mason


Here is a video showing a 3D texturing process used in creating Mason, one of the characters in our new mobile game The Pixel Plague.  3D Artist Ian Zeigler is texture painting some details onto Mason which will probably not even be noticed in the game.  Once a UV map has been created you can paint on the model using the 3D paint tool in Maya.   After the texturing and animation are finished the file will be exported as an .fbx and handed off to programming wizard Tony Calabro to be placed in Unity to add interactive attributes and publish for mobile platforms.
